Use Space Material TRIZAR® in Outdoorwear
About TRIZAR®
Scientists at NASA’s Ames Research Center invented the Protective Ceramic Coating Material (PCCM), which can be applied as a thin, lightweight coating to improve the performance of ceramic tiles on spacecraft. The key to the technology’s success is the high emissivity, or thermal radiation, contained in the mixture, which reduces the amount of heat transferred to the underlying material.
The use of low-emissivity and high-emissivity materials on fabrics is to apply them to fabrics, so that they have intelligent and thermal regulation functions in summer and winter applications, achieving the effects of heat insulation in summer and heat preservation in winter.
TrizarⓇ fabric contains Emisshield®
Emisshield® material was originally used by NASA to improve the performance of ceramic tiles on spacecraft. Patented (2020), Emisshield® material is designed to save energy while increasing efficiency in nearly all heat-driven applications.
EMISHEILD SPECIFICATIONS:
1.Add warmth
2.Better dry period
3.Optimize temperature
4.Improving MVTR and breathability of waterproof laminates
5.Staple fibers and prints resist microorganisms and reduce odor
The main way the human body dissipates heat is by radiation. The skin continuously radiates heat to surrounding objects, such as clothing or the surrounding air. The human body can also receive heat from surrounding objects through radiation.
Trizar® printed fabrics have been measured to absorb 4 to 18 degrees Fahrenheit more infrared (IR) heat than controls. Printed Trizar® fabrics also have increased emissivity and have been shown to maintain their performance after 30 washes.
Trizar® fabrics could be used on outdoorwear, hunting wear and other outdoor activities.
