The Features of High Elastic Fiber T800 Fabric

T800 stretch fiber is made by parallel composite processing of two polyester fibers, PBT and PET.

Advantages of T800

Double helix structure has better elasticity: T800 has good elastic recovery, which is 10% higher than T400.

Super cotton feeling: The characteristics of 100% polyester short yarn make T800 delicate and with super cotton feeling, softer than T400. The full matte surface conforms to the current fashion trend.

Long-lasting dryness: The double helix structure presents an eight-shaped groove cross-section, which absorbs moisture quickly and dries quickly. Its quick-drying property is 8 times higher than cotton and its moisture absorption is twice that of ordinary polyester.

High color fastness: 100% polyester material, T800 has good dyeing performance. It can be boil-dyed with ordinary dyes at normal pressure without a carrier to obtain ultra-high saturation and color fastness.

Why does T800 have good elasticity?

Since there are two components with different properties and microstructures on the cross section, their shrinkage rates are different. After wet heat treatment, the fiber will produce strong longitudinal stress and twist away from the longitudinal axis, which will make the fiber three-dimensional spiral curling. This three-dimensional curling structure gives the fiber excellent elasticity. The curling is determined by its own molecular structure characteristics, so its elasticity and recovery are more durable than ordinary elastic fibers.
